The Downtown Vancouver Association’s Transportation Quilt is both a process and an output. It is meant to inform discussions on complex transportation issues that impact the quality of the downtown Vancouver experience. As a process in the Fall of 2014, it brought together people from various backgrounds over seven quilting roundtable sessions to share perspectives on how mobility impacts areas as diverse as public spaces, economy, health, environment and vibrant neighbourhoods. As an output, the DVA Transportation Quilt aims to engage, educate and inform the broader public dialogue on the importance of transportation to the Metro Vancouver Region.
